This weekend I will be hard at work preparing an Introductory presentation on Commerce Server 2007.
In my last post, I mentioned I would be attending an "Airlift" in Redmond Washington where I would learn about Commerce Server 2007 and get to meet the Commerce Server Team.
Overall, It was a great experience. I got to meet Max Akbar, a product manager on the Commerce Server team. It was great being around such a smart guy. I also got to meet a number of Avanade folks from the Central region, not to mention a couple of East Region folks I never had the pleasure of working with before.
Soon after I got back, I received an email from Steven Forte asking for volunteers to speak at this years NYC code camp. I am always looking for opportunities to hone my writing and speaking skills so I submitted a couple of abstracts.
A couple of days ago I got my response. I will be presenting an introduction to Commerce Server 2007. So far I have the basic framework of the presentation down and hope to have a rough draft completed by Monday.

I attended last year and it was very informative. Plus with Pizza and soda for lunch, you can't go wrong.
Wish me luck!
